Wildcard DNS Routing in PFSense

Configuration

• Services > DNS Resolver

In the "Custom options" field:

server:
  local-zone: "testdomain.com." redirect
  local-data: "testdomain.com. 86400 IN A 10.0.0.2"

This matches *.testdomian.com e.g. mysite.testdomain.com will be routed to 10.0.0.2
